What can we say but THANK YOU!!!!! What an AMAZING FIRST DAY!
Guillaume's FRONTIER definitely deserves such an enthusiastic following, and we're so proud and excited to be able to bring this book to you all! We never know how well a title will land here on Kickstarter, but you BLEW PAST OUR STARTING GOAL like a distant memory! The first stretch goal seemed reasonable at $20k -- unlocking ribbon bookmarks in all hardcover edition books -- but we've now set the rest of our planned bonuses to hopefully keep things interesting for the next 16 days, with (hopefully) something cool unlocked every 3-4 days for the rest of the campaign. We've got clever spreadsheets and algorithms that are pretty uncanny at predicting where we might go from here... it's not 100% guaranteed, but it'll keep things interesting... 😎
Next up at $70k we'll add a cool set of vinyl stickers to all physical tiers for FREE! $70k sounds crazy to us, but at this pace, those stickers could be unlocked by tomorrow...! 😁
We understand that our two limited tiers -- the "Traveler" Bundle and the "+Sketch" bundle went really fast, but it is hard to predict these things on Kickstarter. For those who missed the "Traveler" Bundle, we have added a new Slipcase Tier that includes the same coin and an (unsigned/unnumbered) bookplate -- we have to stay true to the exclusivity of the original tier -- but you can now add a figurine and metal "Traveler Ticket" bookmark as Add-ons to a Slipcase Tier pledge to get almost the same package, albeit admittedly not at the same "early bird" discount. We know that will be disappointing to some of you but that's just how this game is played and there's not much more we can do without jeopardizing our standing as fair oathkeepers in this industry. If you're truly eyeing one of those signed bookplates or original sketches, we can only suggest you keep an eye on the campaign -- sometimes those backers do drop out so slots in those tiers can become available again before the campaign ends! And if we can offer other intriguing upgrades before closing, that could open up some opportunities as well... this campaign has just started! A lot can happen in the next 16 days! 😎
We're thrilled to see so much interest in the mini statuettes! The sculptors really nailed Guillaume's designs -- shout out to David Arberas who sculpted the SPARROW and Martin McGhee who sculpted the ROCK BREAKER! (David also sculpted many of the figures for our first TTRPG, CARBON GREY, which is also AWESOME...)
We may add some new figurine options in the coming days/weeks (as stretch goals), so keep an eye on the updates!
We also appreciate everyone who answered the post-pledge survey -- this is an automated survey provided by our marketing partner Jellop, and we love seeing all of the feedback! While it is not the final "pledge survey" (that will be coming from Backerkit after the campaign has finished), the answers to this survey really do help us consider how to make future campaigns better... or what future products to consider! (Quite a few of you mentioned interest in a FRONTIER TTRPG, which is not beyond the realm of possibility...)
