WOOOOT! A new record (for us)!

WOW! 

We hoped everyone would love this book, but WOW. We were not expecting to have a record number of backers join on this campaign! Our previous record was for The Monkey King with 3,380 backers and thanks to all 3490 of you, we SMASHED that record! THANK YOU!!!!!

Now comes the part where we finalize the details so that we can get you your stuff.  While the book itself is finished, we'll get to work on finalizing the miniture statuette designs, getting stretch goals to the printers and manufacturers, and all the other odds-and-ends that comes with fufilling almost 3,500 backer packages!

Please remember that while we're aiming to have these to you as soon as possible, there are often unexpected bumps along the way, but with over 30 campaigns successfully under our belts, rest assured you will be getting some of THE MOST GORGOUS graphic novels in your collection! We're just as excited and anxious to get them to you as you are!

All right, that's enough of that, we got some celebrating to do!

FIVE MORE SKETCHES NOW AVAILABLE! ACT FAST!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update to follow up on the promise made last Thursday --

FIVE MORE SKETCHES HAVE BEEN MADE AVAILABLE in the new "Complete Traveler + Original Drawing" Tier!

This is it -- THE WHOLE ENCHILADA. Everything in one extremely limited package. This is essentially the same as the previous "Traveler+Sketch" tier, but includes ALL THREE statuettes. We're so grateful for Guillaume's time to add five more original drawings to the campaign, and at such a generous price, too! Those lucky few of you who already have one of the 25 "+Sketch" tiers will probably be better off just adding the two additional statuettes as Add-ons, but his original sketches are rare and in high demand (hence the slight increase in price... every little bit to help us unlock more stretch goals for everyone, right?) 😊

Speaking of stretch goals, you unlocked 16 more pages in the (FREE) ashcan sketchbook over the weekend! That bonus booklet will now be 32 pages! Next up: we will add some cool, subtle embossing to the Softcover Edition at $130k! 

We have the final two goals mapped out and will reveal them both once this next one is unlocked or on Wednesday, whichever comes first... with only 4 days to go, we're anticipating an exciting countdown... it's going to be a big week of cool reveals!

Holiday Announcements: New "Complete Traveler" Bundle Tier added and more Sketches to be unlocked on Monday!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

We hope you're having a cozy celebration for those of you in the States (for everyone abroad, we hope you're having a cozy Thursday)! We weren't planning on posting an update today, visiting family and trying not to "work"... (But is it "work" if you love what you do...?) But you all scored another cool Stretch Goal (bonus free Fabric Patch unlocked!) and we felt obliged to reveal the next one: 16 more pages added to the ashcan sketchbook!

We are also thrilled to have another couple of HOLIDAY SURPRISES to announce -- Guillaume is so thankful for all of your support that he has agreed to sign another 100 bookplates and do 5 more Original Sketches! So we're going to do as follows:

• NEW (LIMITED) "COMPLETE TRAVELER" TIER ADDED!  You may have already noticed on the campaign page itself, but we have added a new "Complete Traveler" Bundle Tier at $147. This is an extension of the existing "Traveler Bundle, but it includes ALL THREE statuettes -- a $210 package value! Only 100 of these are available (to account for the 100 added signed bookplates). Current "Traveler" Bundle backers can upgrade to this new Tier by clicking the green "Manage your pledge" button at the top of the campaign page. The new tier is $2 less than adding the other two statuettes as Add-ons, so if you added those, you may want to swap up to the new Tier. 😉 I'm sure there are plenty of others who would love to swoop in on the newly-freed-up original "Traveler" tier. 😎

• SUPER-LIMITED "COMPLETE TRAVELER + SKETCH" TIER OPENING ON MONDAY! We know there are several of you who were disappointed to have missed your shot at an Original Sketch, and Guillaume was kind enough to agree to make five more on top of the ones already offered. So in fairness to those who really had their hearts set on a Sketch, we will be adding a new "COMPLETE TRAVELER + SKTECH" Tier at 10am CST this coming MONDAY, November 27th! This will include everything in the new "Complete Traveler" bundle (w/ all three statuettes) plus one of these new five sketches.

With only 5 slots available, we want to give you backers advance notice. So if you really want one of those sketches, set your alarms for Monday! 😁

CASSINI HACKER mini Add-on unlocked!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update in case you hadn't seen the revision on the campaign page -- 

The CASSINI HACKER statuette Add-on has been unlocked! 

David is sculpting it now (and might hopefully have a render to show in the next several days before we enter the final stretch...) We're sure it will look AWESOME. 😎

You can now find that item in the Add-ons page after selecting your pledge tier. As a reminder, if you'd like to update your pledge to add one of these little beauties, or to revise your pledge to swap/reconfigure your current Add-ons, you can click the green "Manage your pledge" button at the top of the campaign page to make any changes.

We're so close to $100k! And that cool cyberjacket patch is just on the horizon at $105k! Can we make it in time for Thanksgiving...?

Happy Saturday, everyone!

It has been a great week and an astounding launch in just these first four days of the campaign. You've already unlocked the first three stretch goals, adding ribbon bookmarks to all hardcover books, a set of stickers to all physical tiers, and a 16-page ashcan booklet of sketches by Guillaume Singelin included with every pledge! (PDF included with digital-only pledges, including -- yes -- the $1 tier!)

Next up at $92.5k, we will add silver foil gilding to the page edges of the slipcase edition books! If you're not familiar with that term, it looks something like this:

We have included foil gilding on several of our deluxe editions in the past, including the recent TEZUCOMI slipcase hardcovers, and it is always impressive. Gilding adds such a spectacular, reflective luxury to a book, and the silver foil finish will complement the silver foil on the slipcase design wonderfully... 😎

We also decided to add a new, concurrent stretch goal attached to a different metric, specifically the statuette Add-ons. If we sell a total of statuette Add-ons (between the ROCK BREAKER and SPARROW combined), we'll reveal a third statuette: the CASSINI HACKER!

This will be sculpted by David Arberas who sculpted the SPARROW, and he's chomping at the bit to start! We've already broken 200 Statuette Add-ons so far, so we only need to move about 50 more to bring this little cyber-guy to life!

To answer a few questions proactively: 

• Yes, if/when this third option is unlocked, it will be added to the choices offered for the "Traveler" Bundle and Sketch tier survey in the Pledge Manager after the campaign.
• If you already pledged and want to add something (such as a statuette or etched metal "Traveler ticket" bookmark) after the fact, you can always modify your pledge until the campaign closes. Simply click the green "Manage your pledge" button at the top right of this page, then click the blue "Change your pledge" button that appears in the pledge summary screen that follows. You should then be able to change or re-verify your tier selection, after which you should be shown the Add-on options again. Simple as that!
• If you already added one statuette and want to swap that selection for a different one, you can always modify your pledge using the same instructions above until the campaign closes. 

All Add-ons will also be made available in the Pledge Manager after the campaign, so you can make up your mind later. BUT, the more support we get during the campaign, the more stretch goal bonuses are unlocked...! 😉
